24-HOUR ADORATION WITH THE LORD
Vigil for Pentecost
Friday 22nd - Saturday 23rd May
Members of all our communities are invited to come together in St Joseph's Church, Epsom, for a 24-HOUR VIGIL FOR PENTECOST.

Sign-up sheets are available in all our churches.To ensure that we can maintain a continuous vigil, parishioners are invited to commit to times in advance, either to lead an act of worship, or just to be present. You are encouraged to sign-up with other people so you can pray together. Naturally, everyone is welcome to attend at any time, for as long or short a time as you can manage, even if you have not signed in advance! And everyone is invited to return for the concluding Mass and social.
Those who are sick or housebound and unable to attend are
invited to send their prayer intentions via their local parish
office and they will be placed before the Blessed Sacrament.
FRIDAY
10:00 am: Holy Mass
After Mass, the church will remain open and everyone is invited to come together for Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament and Private Prayer at any time through to Mass on Saturday morning.
The Vigil will include the following:
12:00 noon: Rosary: Mysteries of Light, led by Fr Simon Iduh
3:30-4:30 pm: "Accompanied prayer", with soft organ music
6:00-7:00 pm: Holy Hour of prayer with the newly-confirmed
7:30-8:30 pm: "Worship through music" with Deanery singers
8:30 pm: Night Prayer, led by Fr Gary Carter
9:00 pm: Rosary: Joyful Mysteries, led by Adrian Lloyd
10:00 pm: Rosary: Sorrowful Mysteries, led by Fr Simon Hall
11:00 pm: Rosary: Glorious Mysteries, [leader TBC]
SATURDAY
Parishioners from our Deanery communities will be praying together throughout the night: everyone is invited to join them, for as much or as little time as you can commit!
10:00 am: The Vigil will conclude with Holy Mass,
concelebrated by Deanery clergy
... and will be followed by refreshments in the hall
